Llafranc
| Costa BravaLlafranc Residence
Originally built in 1965, this Llafranc residence underwent a five-year transformation into a contemporary Mediterranean sanctuary. While preserving the original footprint of the house, the architecture was completely reimagined with sculptural arches, panoramic openings and a hand-finished dusty-rose façade that settles naturally into the surrounding Costa Brava landscape.

Inside, oversized Spanish travertine flows continuously between interior and exterior spaces, complemented by walnut joinery and expressive natural stones including Calacatta Viola, Verde Lepanto and Verde Alpi. Bespoke furniture and architectural elements sit alongside pieces by Minotti, Cassina, Molteni, B&B Italia and other leading design houses.
At the heart of the project is the relationship between the house and its surroundings. Expansive glazing opens the living spaces towards the Mediterranean and pine forest, while the interiors draw their palette directly from the landscape—earthy neutrals, deep greens and touches of blue.
More than a renovation, Llafranc is an expression of Casa Lari’s approach to design: natural materials, exceptional craftsmanship and contemporary architecture conceived to belong to its setting.
